How to Make Crock Pot 3-Ingredient Buffalo Chicken Dip

This dip is delicious and super easy, plus it will feed a crowd. It’s the perfect easy appetizer for any party… although we particularly love it around football season!

All you need to do is combine all the ingredients in the crock pot and cook on low for 2-3 hours. Don’t have a crock pot or slow cooker? Cook on the stove on medium-low heat and stir often until warmed through and combined well.

I prefer to get the pre-made rotisserie chicken for the dip. Just remove the skin, pull all the meat off the chicken and chop it up or shred it before you throw it in. You can also use any leftover plain cooked chicken breast or ground chicken you have from a previous meal.

After the Buffalo Chicken Dip has been cooking in the crock pot give it a good stir and it’s ready to serve! I like to leave it in the crock pot on warm while serving. Serve with your favorite chips and/or vegetables!

Frequently Asked Questions

Is buffalo chicken dip spicy?

That is up to you! Use your choice of mild or spicy buffalo sauce depending on how spicy you want it to be. Also, if you want to make this dip more mild stir in some ranch dressing or blue cheese dressing. Both will help to cool down the heat.

Can buffalo chicken dip be eaten cold?

Sure! Be sure to store your buffalo chicken dip in the refrigerator once it has cooled and eat it straight from the refrigerator without reheating. The texture will not be as creamy but it is totally fine to eat!
