How to make Cinnamon Toast Crunch Protein Bites

These protein bites are super simple to put together with just 6 ingredients and a good food processor! The ingredients you will need are:

  • Creamy almond butter
  • Oats
  • Vanilla Protein Powder
  • Dates
  • Cinnamon
  • Water

Combine all of the ingredients in a food processor and blend until combined. Slowly add the water until you get the mixture to stick together (pictured below).

Put all the ingredients, except for the water in the food processor.

Add water a little at a time until it can be pressed together.

Once the mixture comes together, roll into 1 tablespoon-sized balls. There should be approximately 16. Store your protein bites in the refrigerator in an airtight container for 1-2 weeks (if they last that long!).

Can I use plant-based protein for this recipe?

Absolutely! We used whey protein powder in this recipe (like we do for all of our recipes containing protein powder) however it can be substituted. If you are vegan, vegetarian or just prefer a different protein powder feel free to change it out. You may need more or less water depending on how much it absorbs.

The only time I would say you may have problems swapping protein powders is if something is being baked. The reason for that is the protein powder may not react the same in the heat.
