How to Make Crock Pot Orange Chicken
Not only does this recipe only have 5 ingredients it also takes just a couple simple steps and minimal effort. To start, place chicken in the bottom of the crock pot. Stir together all ingredients aside from the chicken in a small bowl, then pour the sauce in on top of the chicken and stir to coat. (Or just pour all ingredients into the crock pot and stir as best you can.)
Next, cover and cook on high heat for 3-4 hours or low heat for 6-8 hours. The longer cooking time is perfect for when you have a busy week and want dinner cooking while you are away from the house.
The chicken is ready once the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees. You can also shred the chicken at this point, and then stir it back in the sauce to re-coat it all before serving.
Then, serve with your desired sides (rice, vegetables, etc.) Optional: top with sesame seeds, chopped green onions or red pepper flakes.
