In my recipe Autumn Harvest Juice I discuss that there isn’t very strong scientific proof about the benefits of consuming juice. However, if you enjoy juice it can definitely help increase your daily intake of vitamins and minerals. Let’s explore the benefits of Cucumber Limeade Juice:
Cucumber juice is great for hydration and has a mild flavor which helps to make up a good bulk of this juice! Lime juice contains a lot of Vitamin C, is good for your skin and can help with inflammation among other benefits, according to Taste of Home. Raw apple juice, as found in this recipe, has a high amount of Vitamin K, Vitamin C and antioxidants.

Should I chill my produce before juicing? YES! You don’t want to add ice and water it down so chilling the produce before juicing will give you a cold drink!
Can I store this juice? For the most benefit and because it is unprocessed, juice should be consumed immediately. If it is not it can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. It is not recommended to store unprocessed juice long because it can grow unwanted bacteria.
What kind of apples are best to use for juicing? I recommend using a crisp apple variety such as gala, honey crisp or green apple. The mealy type of apples like red delicious can be used but will give the juice a thicker texture.

Cucumber Limeade Juice
This Cucumber Limeade Juice is super refreshing, easy to make and only requires 3 ingredients!
Ingredients
- 1 lime, quartered
- 1 large apple, quartered with seeds and stem removed
- 1 cucumber, ends removed
Instructions
- Wash all produce.
- Prepare produce by cutting lime in quarters, chop apple in quarters and remove seeds and stem, and remove ends from cucumber.
- Turn on your juicer and add ingredients in this order: lime, apple and cucumber. This order will ensure all of the lime and apple juice is flushed out of the juicer since the cucumber has such a high water content.
- Give the juice a quick stir and enjoy immediately.
Notes
A crisp apple will give this juice the best consistency!
