How to Make Easy Air Fryer Green Beans

First, preheat the air fryer to 350 degrees while prepping the green beans. Next, cut the ends off of the green beans. Then, rinse the green beans if they are not already washed. Place the green beans in a mixing bowl and dry them. Then, add the olive oil, salt, garlic and dill. Toss to coat the green beans.

Pour the green beans in the preheated air dryer and cook at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes. Toss every 5 minutes and cook until they are easy to pierce with a fork. Once cooked to your liking remove from the air fryer and serve.

Yes! Prep the green beans the same and roast in the oven at 350 degrees until cooked through and easy to pierce with a fork.

Do I need to use oil?

Oil isn’t needed to cook in the air fryer however I like to use it for flavor and to keep the seasoning on the green beans. If you don’t want to use oil go ahead and spritz the green beans with a cooking spray to keep the seasoning on the beans.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh green beans
  • 1/2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp garlic, chopped
  • 1 tsp dill
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 350 degrees.
  2. Cut the ends off of the green beans and wash if needed.
  3. Dry green beans and place in a mixing bowl.
  4. Add remaining ingredients to the green beans and toss to coat evenly.
  5. Pour green beans into air fryer basket and cook for 15 minutes or until easy to pierce with a fork. Toss green beans every 5 minutes so they cook evenly.

Notes

If you do not have an air fryer, cook green beans in the oven.
