This Easy Beer Cheese Fondue is so quick to put together, only requires 4 ingredients and is sure to please a crowd! Make this for a party snack, game day, holiday appetizer or just for a small group of friends!

How to Make Easy Beer Cheese Fondue
The first thing you will need to make this dip is a fondue pot. I have not personally attempted to make this on the stove however, I am sure you could as long as you have something to keep it warm in afterwards.
Heat the fondue pot over low heat and add the garlic. Cook about two minutes or until fragrant.
Next, slowly and carefully pour in the beer. Bring to a simmer over medium heat. You may want to increase the heat a little to speed this up. While you are waiting for the beer to simmer, combine the cheese and flour in a bowl and toss to coat.

Finally, slowly add the cheese a little at a time stirring constantly to melt. A whisk will work really well for this step. Once all of the cheese is added your fondue dip is ready to serve. Adjust the heat as necessary to keep the dip from burning or getting to hard to dip.

This Easy Beer Cheese Fondue is perfect to serve with a group because it makes a lot! You could certainly cut the recipe in half and drink the rest of the beer you won’t need.
For sure! Add some black pepper, your favorite hot sauce, some red pepper flakes or any other spicy seasoning you have on hand that you love.
While almost any kind of cheese can be used to make fondue for this recipe we used sharp cheddar cheese. We bought pre shredded cheese from the grocery store to help save on time. Swiss cheese is a very popular cheese to use for fondue but I have not tested it with beer. If you try it please let us know in the comments.
