How to Make Easy Beer Cheese Fondue
The first thing you will need to make this dip is a fondue pot. I have not personally attempted to make this on the stove however, I am sure you could as long as you have something to keep it warm in afterwards.
Heat the fondue pot over low heat and add the garlic. Cook about two minutes or until fragrant.
Next, slowly and carefully pour in the beer. Bring to a simmer. You may want to increase the heat a little to speed this up. While you are waiting for the beer to simmer, combine the cheese and flour in a bowl and toss to coat.
Finally, slowly add the cheese a little at a time stirring constantly to melt. A whisk will work really well for this step. Once all of the cheese is added your fondue dip is ready to serve. Adjust the heat as necessary to keep the dip from burning or getting to hard to dip.
How to Serve
This Easy Beer Cheese Fondue is perfect to serve with a group because it makes a lot! You could certainly cut the recipe in half and drink the rest of the beer you won’t need. There are a lot of options for serving this fondue. Here are some recommendations:
- Cherry Tomatoes
- Roasted Potatoes
Cut the large items into bite-sized pieces perfect for using the fondue forks.
