How to Make a Chocolate Banana Strawberry Smoothie
First, gather your ingredients. All you need for this smoothie recipe is:
- Frozen strawberries
- Frozen banana (see our post on How to Store Ripe Bananas)
- Milk (regular, almond, soy, etc.)
- Cocoa powder
Once all of your ingredients are together, combine them in a blender and blend until smooth. See recipe card below for full recipe amounts.

Yes! Instead of cocoa powder, a scoop of your favorite protein powder can be used for this smoothie to give it a boost of protein. If you want it to be dairy free or vegan be sure to use a vegan protein powder.
I would not recommend that because it should be served immediately after blending. To make these faster to put together, store bags of measured strawberries and bananas together in the freezer.
