How to make Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Mug Cake
This recipe is super simple! First, pick out your favorite mug. Then, combine all of the dry ingredients in the mug and give them a good stir. Next, add the liquid ingredients and peanut butter. Stir until well combined. Make sure to get all the flour on the bottom mixed in! Then, add the chocolate chips and stir.
To cook, microwave for 1 minute and 10 seconds to 1 minute and 30 seconds depending on the strength of your microwave. The cake should look almost done on top. (**This recipe does not contain eggs so underdone is okay!**)
Once your cake is out of the microwave top with a splash of milk. And, if desired, a few extra chocolate chips and whip cream! The cake will stay warm in the mug as you eat it or you can scoop it out of the mug and let it cool.

- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1/8 tsp baking powder
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tbsp peanut butter
- 1 tsp vegetable oil
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1 tbsp chocolate chips
- Optional: milk, whipped cream and chocolate chips for topping
- Find your favorite mug.
- Add flour, sugar, baking powder and salt to mug. Stir well.
- Add milk, peanut butter, vegetable oil and vanilla. Stir well, be making sure to get all of the flour mixed in from the bottom of the mug.
- Add chocolate chips and stir in.
- Microwave for 1 minute and 10 seconds to 1 minute and 30 seconds.
- Top with a splash of milk.
- Add whipped cream and chocolate chips if desired. Enjoy!
