Ingredients for Sheet Pan Sausage Potatoes and Green Beans
This recipe is very simple to make and doesn’t require too many ingredients. Most of them are pantry staples you probably have on hand already. For this recipe you will need:
- sausage links: any type of sausage can be used for this recipe. We used pork but smoked sausage, turkey sausage or chicken sausage can be used as well.
- russet potatoes: sweet potatoes, baby potatoes or creamer potatoes are also a great choice for this recipe.
- fresh green beans: I would not recommend using frozen green beans for this recipe. If you don’t like green beans try broccoli or peppers and onions instead.
- paprika
- garlic powder
- olive oil
- salt and pepper

How to Make Sheet Pan Sausage Potatoes and Onions
To start, heat oven to 400 degrees. Spray a large sheet pan with non-stick spray. Or, for even easier clean up line a sheet pan with tin foil and then spray with non-stick spray.
Next, place sausage links on sheet pan on one side. Then, clean and chop potatoes into bite-sized pieces. Place potatoes in a bowl and add paprika, pepper, salt, garlic powder and 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Toss to coat well. Pour potatoes onto sheet pan.
Then, wash and chop ends from green beans. Place in the same mixing bowl you used for the potatoes and add 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper and toss to coat. Pour green beans on sheet pan.
Put sheet pan into the oven and cook for 30-40 minutes. Turn sausage over halfway and stir potatoes and green beans. Cook until sausage reaches at least 160 degrees and potatoes and green beans are tender. Use a meat thermometer to make sure that sausage is cooked through. Once thoroughly cooked remove from oven and serve immediately.
Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, this recipe is both! As always be sure to check your ingredients to make sure they are dairy and gluten free. For this recipe that really just means to check your sausage.
If you aren’t a big fan of green beans a little bit of olive oil salt and pepper before roasting can go a long way. And if you would rather not add them try broccoli or peppers and onions instead for this dish.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Reheat in the microwave before eating.
I wouldn’t recommend it unless you have two to use. One will not give you enough space to spread everything out.
