How to Make a Starbucks Sunset Drink at Home
Getting the layers for this beautiful drink is important for the sunset appearance. If you follow the directions as written you should have no trouble. First, brew 1 bag of peachy green tea in 1/2 cup of hot water for 5 minutes. Then, remove the tea bags and add 1/2 cup of very cold water to the brewed tea.
Next, stir in 1 cup of lemonade. Add a splash of peach juice (or more for more peachy flavor). Stir this well to combine with the lemonade tea mixture.
Fill two glasses about halfway with ice. Divide the lemonade mixture between both glasses and pour on top of the ice. Take a spoon and place it over the ice upside down towards the edge of the glass. Slowly pour the iced passion tea concentrate over the spoon and into the glass. Just add enough to get the ombre look.

A simple google search will lead you down a rabbit hole of endless secret menu drinks! Some of these are seasonal while others can be ordered all year long. Thankfully the items we used to make this recipe are not limited time items and they can be found at most grocery stores!
Making your own drinks at home is a great way to save money. For example with this drink while you will initially spend more to get all of the ingredients than you would on one drink the best part is you will be able to make about 8-10 drinks before you use up all of the ingredients.
This sunset drink reminds me slightly of a peachy arnold palmer with a hint of passion fruit flavors (from the passion tea). It is a very refreshing drink that has a little bit of caffeine from the green iced tea.
This recipe can be slightly tweaked. For example you can add extra peach juice for more peach flavor or less lemonade if you prefer. The only ingredient you don’t want to add too much of is the passion tea. If you add too much of this ingredient you will not get the layered iced drink look you want.
In order to get the different layers that you can see you want to stick with green tea. A black iced tea will not allow the passion tea to be seen on the top layer.
